when i play games. i play shooting games. and i find that its rather easy to lob grenades to my preferred target at some distance. seeing my opponents fly up in the sky as they wait for their turn to prey on me.
and today i cant even reach the 40 metre target when i threw the dummy grenade. it pathetically landed 20 metres away. i can have my balls gone if it was real. and how the bananas did they do it in blackhawk down where they lobbed the frag into the window a few storey high. must be cut-scenes. must be. or if not i should start zeroing my grenade throwing.
soon i will be up a hill.
Peace

5 months till i leave my full time national service. been thru this and that and some fierce training. creatures from different angles. the dark night. the lonely cold dark night. the camouflage paint. the 3 weeks of pain. acquaintances becoming good buddies. weapons and weapons and more weapons. sometimes i ask myself why am i wearing green for.

these two pictures reminded me some of the worst experiences. its not that long ago. and it made me somewhat regret still. it still fresh in the mind on how i panickly got over the radio. the thought of being lost deep inside with thunderstorms that kept me slipping into the river full of leeches. i almost lost an eye in the thick vegetation. i was the gang leader then; bringing up the morale for team members is even harder when i had the thought of giving up. did i mention that i cried silently on one of my lonely nights? and all done, i was pissed and disappointed with myself of all the torture that went to waste. im just glad that dear pc was damn proud of me. a phase i will never forget.
"...if you had lost a man in a battle, dont let your morale down on the rest, the war still have to continue."
dude why am i even sharing this. i guess i just have to let this heart out. like i had mentioned earlier, its still caught up in the mind. it feels as if i have some unfinished business. nonetheless, i do have slight regrets over it.

and another post.
it was 530 in the morning, i woke up from an hour of sleep with several itchy lumps on my arms. mosquitoes here dont bite once, they bite a couple of times, got drunk and make easy frags for me. they dont believe in karma, thats why. now my bedsheet is having a bloodfest.
anyways i was welcomed with the common visitor of my wing. the cat. i called it tiger. i still wondering whether its a she or a he. maybe a she. it kept rubbing on me. early in the morning and its already making a lot of noise. so yep the cat was hungry, i was hungry. she sat down beside me, i brushed her ears. she listened to my problems. and went mew for a bit. for once we talk. maybe she understands me better. then my duty bud came with breakfast, dayume she snatches away my food. my fish nuggets! there goes breakfast. but i felt better feeding the cat. i got quite calm.
ohkay time to pack up and move out. gon take the budget way home like yesterday when i came here. bye tiger.

i was just flipping thru maxim after doing rounds in wingline. and i think that magazine is full of sheits. the stories and blas blas arent really a filler. the only catch was mischa burton which was last year dec issue. might as well fill up the pages with beautiful pictures that i can sketch and pass time with.
anyway happy chinese new year. im very gladly back in camp doing duty. and its unusually quiet here. i was staring at the parade square this afternoon and started smiling. it was that 3 months back, with us, just had our lunch. and then in the hot sun we started crawling on the already heated rough rugged road; sweat was tremendous, my hand was bleeding, and at that moment(if i could remember proper) i smiled trying to forget the pain. it was just part of training, i told myself. but hey it was found out that someone was at fault and we're all punished. anyhows the torture was over. we forgotten as training piles up.
you might ask, why do i even bother recalling it. it just hit me. time flies real fast. and next week ill be heading overseas for training. 3 weeks. i bet it will be a blink of an eye.
so yep ill be a watchful eye now.

black knights flying above with their shining birds. armour tankees rolling heavily down the tracks. oh my training never been so fun last two weeks. where in the part of singapore can you see them group of tanks in action just a few feet away from you. wooh if only them tanks can transform into some machine. im being childish but theyre cool stuffs yo. and they make a lot of noise too. especially at night. can feel the ground trembling. anyways,
got my gold ippt mayne. alhamdulillah. 200 bucks come chinging in the bank. and i have one already sewn on one of the smartest no. 4. and gon sew another 4 more. now to maintain the fitness which is the tough part. i had 2 packets of chicken rice just now. and mom is still not back yet from KL. i want her food. im missing her food. havent been really sitting down and eating with her. and talk about training, releasing tension from camp. shes the best listening ear yo.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want. hidee. alhamdulillah. finalleeeyhhh! cleared the standard obstacle course test this morning once and for all. no more running like a mad dog for the last 600metres. no more trial runs. no more. its over and done with. wooh steam. and the timing was faster. could do better but it was sweet. anyway the worst is yet to come. the seoc. standard endurance obstacle course. i think im gon run like a pig for the 3.5click distance with some obstacles bounded in between.
ohkay, ill be staying in for 2 weeks in camp for the next book in. some field missions. and its advised to not share training activities now. its very dangerous. can live dangerous but not too dangerously, yannowumean?
its so fun hearing them red berets jumping out of the plane. by the way, hit it! "1000. 2000. 3000. check! toggle. over left. over right. under left. under right. in between. good para position!", ok can go airborne already. huhu.

firing the mg is like having sex. though im still a virgin. it feels like it. squeezing the trigger and the mg moans with bullets grazing over the field. the sound generated from the time bullets leaves the muzzle makes me orgasm. and if there were real enemies down at the target front, it makes you want to go: "die biatch dieeee!"
dayume sorry kids. i was a bit wild up there. im actually a very nice guy(as depicted by someone, =D). im currently worrying about myself and my comrades for the week to come. because we are having missions back to back plus the not so favourable weather conditions for us to crawl in, dig in and sleep in. rain, mud, us crawling. you get the picture. and sleep will be a deprivation. im actually tearing my hearts out whether i can pull it thru though. just one week man. one week of big pile of shiet splat on you basic. come on. ill be counting down every hour till d-day and every minutes till the point we re-org after the brutal fight over the final exercise. operation scorpion king here we go. lets lock and load. we have a battle to rage. oh my ill be frigging shag even before first burst of fire is shot.
and if im not back next week, tell my mom i fought the war well and tell my lover i did my best.
ceh. haha. ill be back! pray for my well being sweet.

the week passed have been good. not much outfield exercises and stuffs like that. basically, it was just chilling in the room. forever area cleaning and lessons and tests. oh yep we learnt the 'laser quest' thingy that we will use with our guns sometime down the road. which is pretty cool. looking forward to that. so yep training tempo gon be tough this coming 2 weeks. yes, its gon be horror. which i do not wish to worry much of it. anyway the pictures below are some of the little things that i look forward to, just to rid my anxiety and worries of training:
lunchtime with buddies. this is where we crap. a lot.
respecting nature. its good to contemplate life here.
water polo. oh my we are so good at this.
and the buddies that are suffering together with you. the melayus of platoon 2 plus one professor x. anyway, tutup aurat lah. i dont want girls to get orgasmic. huhu.

time flies. and its been a while since i update this life storybook of mine. im just out of words to describe the aching days that been gone multiple days back. i just ended another jungle exercise recently, and i think it was alright. only the heat rash this time is much more worst which making me starting to hate wearing that stuffy battle vest. it traps heat so much, and i perspire more than what i drink. and with me being sleepy and restless i tend to skip body maintenance and walk thru the night. mind you when its jungle exercises, sleep is deprivation. or no sleep at all. i remembered my eyes shut off unconsciously when the morning mission briefing was instructed. and even though my eyes is open, ill go drunk listening to the briefing. thinking of it, its a funny sight i guess. ha. anyway, the recent field camp was a worthwhile experience though, minus the shaggness, we had loads of fun within the section. one time i was recce-ing for a good spot for some maggi supper in the middle of the night while the rest were helmets and packs off resting on the center of the track. let me emphasis it again. center of the track. then i saw light across on the other side, following with an engine noise that was roaring closer. the rule is you have to take cover in the vegetation everytime vehicle is passing. with almost all of them half a sleep i came running down(like a clown) towards them to take cover which took them a while to realise i was frigging serious. they panickly grab them helmets and pack and all ran like mad dogs and frigging all jumped into the same spot crouching with all heads tilt to the ground. haha cheeeesebun! maciam cartoon. the scene was so hilarious, we laugh all the way till end point. its all good yo. theres other funny shiets we did too, guess i just keep it for another time aye.
my research shows that 96% of my life now have been spending inside camp and jungles rather than having it occupied with slacking, meet-ups and graffiti(ohmy i miss this sheit). seriously man, i feel revitalised every time passing through the gates of safti to the comfort of home. to see cars, macdonalds. chics. oh dear, i miss that all. 23 hrs 20 mins to another week of training and the feeling to be free from the green uniform is timeless. woo. and i miss them feminines man. i see guys day in day out. i just want a wonderful date with someone. you can? i can name if i want to. nevermind.
its a weird fact to seriously discuss your future planning, your life, your problems with the buddies you knew a few months ago and it takes place in the heart of mandai jungle. but i find it valuable though; with a setting in a no civilisation area, you tend to think deeper and talk more sense rather than having gossips and talking craps in starbucks. erm. pictures of the army. jeng jeng jeng:
spider eyes.

the more you drink, the more you perspire, the more you stink, the more you piss.
this is me section. from left to right. with our callsigns: hungry ghost, chris, extra bone, gun, ken, basic, robert, alibaba, thaigo.
there are many many other pictures i have i wants to share on our training. but i guess its not advisable to display it here with all the weaponrys and terrain and stuffs. spies are all around. shh.
so ok:
"hullo 1 2 this is 1 2 Bravo, GOOD DAY, over"
Peace

and finally im home. after 3 great weeks, i could kiss the white tiles of my room. and about the past 3 weeks? everyday is about pressure. everyday the brain nerves get stiff. everyday is laundry. everyday is running and more running. everyday there will be endless sweat. and its only the third week. and it was my first book out today.
every morning, before first light. i had always contemplated. why the crap i chose to be here. why am i wasting my time with the turnouts. the stress level is high man. i will always be in a rush. i cannot waste time. i cant afford to. and when i have to, i already dozed off preparing for the strenuous schedule next day. i had thought of quitting. maybe i already did. the word kept buzzing in this shallow mind of me. yes i have no motivation. my confidence level is low. my morale went rock bottom. i never did realise the rationale of me serving the nation as a foot soldier. i never do understand. why am i being treated like this.
somehow, one fine day it struck me just like that. a group of primary school students having their excursion tour around safti. their smiles and waves to us really means so much. my anxiety, fear and fatigue went gone just like that when they came passing by in their school bus with all smiles and hands in the air waving at us in full battle order during training. i realised it now. for us to defend the livelihood. for us to defend the very best things in life. and every time i get screwed real bad from the instructors, i would think of the smiling school children and not to ever let them crying stranded in a blown off town. i will try really hard to stay on now.

and i love you mom.

ssup.
put aside my close poly mates, these would be them buddies of mine. spot me somewhere in the first row. i look sucky ducky:
so yep im left with like 9 days till passing out parade. and that is fast. anyway, let me remind you guys not to pass your napha test before national service cause the timeframe for training is squeezed and the schedule be clusterfcuk. and and you will always be booking out on weekends. unlike them PTP batch, they get to do it on every fridays. dayume. and one more thing, 9 weeks of bonding with your platoon mates aint that enough. yannowummean?
yeahhh, it was a hectic week. SIT test was fun i should say, its like amazing race, you need to solve and complete missions that were given. most prolly its some sort of a 3 days leadership camp where you pit your leadership skills to real life scenarios. and and real live grenade throwing was the ish, the explosions was orgasmic it makes you stand. woohoo i did it without ear plugs thanks to my PC. shiok. last but not least we went high for the last 4 km of the 16 km route march, doing fast pace march and singing all nonsense back to company line. because we are the best.
stupid me got into drill squad and i have to book in earlier tomorrow morning for the competition. shiets. hopefully we win top 3 or something.
and now for some random me.
vain.
see im not that dark. haha.
Peace

hi im shagged. lets pour it:
ill go into details later. for now. my bed.

090807
Book in with a beautiful scenery of the nations day fireworks live right from where i was standing, Pulau Tekong Ferry Terminal. I was awestricken by it. woo-ooh. I almost teared.
100807
IPPT 2.4KM timing 9:57. I think im improving.
Field Camp Prep.
110807
8KM march to first camp site. I feel that the weight of the bag was suddenly heavy.
Basha up and lecture and field training.
Our first powder bath. E-spring our underwears yo.
120807
Morning PT with rifle is shaggy.
Lecture and more field training.
130807
Field training inclusive of firing blanks. Woo shiok.
Late afternoon; March off to another camp site for 6KM. and I still feel that the bag was getting heavier.
Had the night sleeping at the campsite with just our groundsheets.
140807
We had three hours to dig up our own bed(shellscrape). Like literally dig up the soil two feet deep, bodylength and had to sleep in it for two nights. and by accomplishing the timing, I had my first water bath. which was just one litre of it. anyway i enjoyed it in the middle of the jungle
150807
Had a heart attack from the artillery strike out of nowhere in the earliest morning(they, the commanders used thunderflash to simulate arti strike in our area, which is mof'in loud when it explodes like few metres away). Standby two almost broke my back because we had to prone in the bed that we dug. 15 minutes of proning and my bed is very narrow.
Fought some simulated battles and running from a lifted artillery is a very very shagging experience.
We saw a wild boar! Oink!
I had maggi mee. In the jungle! Orgasmic!
160807
Artillery strikes again. Dude. My eyes were steamy mayne. It was 0530 hours.
One of me platoon mates ran and knock onto a branch, fell flat on the ground when we had to gather in pitch darkness. and that was a funny sight. hahaha.
Leapord Crawl, Back Crawl with live rounds firing overhead. another shaggedelicious experience.
Take tonner back to company line.
Finally a whole day of free admin time. Had my longest bath ever!
170807
Book Out! Book Out Day! =D
ill go into details later. for now. my bed.
